Jánska valley
Janska valley ( 634 – 2043 m) was declarated in 1933 as a National reserve. It is sittuated in The National park of Low Tatras. River Štiavnica flows trough the valley. There are many of undergrounds carst´s arraies like a Stasinov cave, Cave of Stary castle, Cave of Zaskocie.
Many of visitors are interested in natural reserves – Ohniste, Dumbier and summer´s termal swimming pools. You can find ski lifts, tourist foothpath...in The Janska valley. TRANSPORT:
From the direction of Liptovsky Mikulas on the motorway D1,
From the direction of Poprad on the motorway E50
Possibility to use a regular bus transport
In vertical lines is slightly danded with many gaps, from all sides is bounded by abrupt slopes. Manly south and south/west slopes are interesting. They are crosswide cut by hundred meters long cliffs array separated narrow plains.
In Jánska valley is rich area on thermal and mineral spring. This belong under cold and very low thermal, from low to strong carbonic, nitrous low mineralise wather. Inhabitant in vilage Liptovský Ján call cold spring medokiš and warm teplica.
